somebody sent me a death threat through myspace and i need to know their IP adress. how can i get it?

will myspace really give me their IP address or will they just delete the account? i don't want the account deleted without getting the IP address because then i won't be able to get more information. and no, i have no idea who the person is. it's so weird and it's freaking me out. i can't edit this question any more so if you have any other ideas you can reply to this question again or IM me on AIM my screen name is "goingtowawa"

myspace has a policy... just read it and they should tell you what they do to an account like that.

Report it to myspace. They will probably not tell you the IP address, but they can track it. You should also file a police report; this will start an investigation process in case something further escalates.

As far as i know you cant get the ip address.
The best thing you can do is report the message and block the person.
Do you have any idea who would do something like that?

Oh wow. If you're getting death threats, you HAVE to report it to myspace. They have a policy on that and will get back to you, or else they can get in big trouble. Please, please report it to myspace.
Also, do you have any idea who is doing it? Someone you know, might know, or just some random message?
But yes, you NEED to report it to myspace! Get all the details on you can! good luck!
