Hm ... I'm not entirely sure they had coffee in Bible days, though I can see Jesus enjoying some java with his friends. Anyway, if they did have coffee back then it would have been the wife's job to make it since the wife tended to the home chores. Nowadays that doesn't apply because rules made for an ancient society are not always applicable to today's world.
