Ok so at my school, there is a small 9th grade class mainly for people who couldn't get into a good highschool. Because of this, the 9th grade class also interacts with 6th, 7th, and 8th graders.
I think I kinda like one of the 6th grade girls and I know that's a little strange. Not in a perverted or sexual way, I just think she's really cute and I know shes mature for her age. Does that make me weird for it? I've been stressing over it for a while and trying to stop, but I still just kinda like her. I know a few of my 9th grade friends like 7th grade girls that appear to be younger than the one I kinda like.

9th grade is awful. You are the weakest link on the food-chain at highschool, (sorta speak) everyone looks down upon the minor niners or 9th graders, because they are new to the school, and the youngest of the grades... 9th grade is totally different then 6th grade, the people are meaner, more groups are formed (like druggies group, goth/emo groups, preps, chavs, popular kids, athletes, nerds, ect...) people define one another by their appearence, and where they fit into which groups. You can make friends in 9th grade by simply, just being yourself. Try not to let other kids bother you if they do so, just talk to some people, make yourself known around the school a bit, people will eventually start socializing with you and then friends will be made :) However, be warned about the groups. See, sometimes people in high school will act all friendsly to you, and then yous will be like best friends, but they may be tricking you... this happened to me once, and the person was like my bff, turned out she only spent time with me because she wanted to get into drugs, and was haning around me because I had connections x( People will use you, or try to anyways :P 9th grade can be fun though, keep your spirit up, make some friends and just remember be cautious of others, but friendly at the same time, once people get to know you, they will start haning out with ya, and then eventually you will have many friends :) Best of luck ^_^

If you're in 9th grade, you're probably around 14 years old - and you probably have a lot of "weird" thoughts.
100% of 14 year old boys have weird thoughts.
Having said that - it's time to stop thinking about the 6th grader.
You're growing up fast, but she is still a child.
Find something to like about one of your 9th grade friends and focus on them.

im sorry but at that age there is too much of an age gap. you should wait for her for a few years. Plus there is not much a 6th graders can really do anyway. Its not like her parents are going to let u date her.

i'm in 9th grade too, and a 6th grader was hitting on me tonight at a football game so i can relate. anyway at that age, yes it's weird, sorry. but when she gets to high school it will be completely normal. if you're willing to wait, wait. but it's a personal question, go with your gut and good luck. =]

It's not a bad thing.
You are 14 and she's 11, right? Three years age difference.
Neither one of you is old enough to date. You could be friends, though.
And you won't always be kids.
I'm 66. My wife is 60. Six years age difference. When I married my first wife, I was 23 and she was 19. Four years age difference.
Just be patient, and, no you aren't weird.

it's not weird for liking her..but to your guys' parents. it's not going to look so good. i mean, she's like 11 or 12..and you're 14 or 15....that's a pretty big age gap when you guys are that young. just be patient and wait a few years..or find someone that's a bit older...

it depends on how you feel about the relationship...... i think that you can like her as long as you aren't doing anything wrong or being a freak about it (stalking etc.)
its normal for guys to like girls, and she is not that much younger than you
just as long as you don't harass her , it should be fine :-D good luck with this
