Sgt.W.Palmer tells me that the different colored M&M's have different flavors and that they all taste different...Is there any truth to this?

I have had them that all of the colors the shells were different flavors. I remember it was a very limited time and I haven't heard of then since. That was years and year ago too though.

Sgt Palmer is known far and wide as being a dork !!!
Different colored M&M's do NOT have different flavors !!
The colors come from food coloring (not flavoring) added to the "thin candy shell" --- which is essentially sugar !!
Tell Sgt Palmer to drop and give us 200 !!!! Dork !!!
There again -- he is probably thinking of Skittles !!
It would be just like him to get the two mixed up !!

I think they have the same taste. They just differ in colors.

I thought that they all tasted different but I'll have to try some now cause ya got me thinking. If it's only food colouring that they use to colour them maybe they don't taste different.

Go ahead and taste them. You'll find no difference. The colouring is just for decoration. M&Ms are just pieces of chocolate coated in a crispy sugar coating that is coloured in diffrerent colours. Plus, that Sgt.W.Palmer guy is such an idiot!

No, M&Ms are peices of choclate covered in some coating to make them look pretty
