You guys are the reason I put it there.
After realizing how badly stuffed my mailbox is from people sending me messages, such as...
"YOU SHOULD BELIEVE IN GOD, JESUS, AND THE BIBLE! IT'LL SAVE YOUR IMMORTAL SOUL!"
"lol u r stupid btch"
"Why don't you see that it's pointless to believe in such imaginary beings that you cannot prove physically exist?"
... I have decided to give out my AIM SN. I expect this to be abused from now on instead of my e-mail. Please.
R&S inspired me to do this because, quite frankly, I'm tired of looking to see when my next appointment is with my college advisor to only see three pages worth of "You have received a message from another user!"
So, what do you guys think? Good idea or bad idea?

Are you saying that your account has emails from your real life?
This account (Darth Cheney) has nothing, absolutely nothing to do with my real life. You say you don't want to start over? What would happen if your account got deleted (not suspended; I mean deleted).
All your emails would be gone.

If you edit your profile you can uncheck the "Allow Answers users to contact me via email (Address not publicly displayed) * option. That way no-one can send you any crazy messages. People will most likely still email and not use the aim name, as its more cowardly.
Sorry to hear people are being such preppy little brats with you. Keep on believing in yourself and what you want to believe in. Only you can be yourself and thats pretty amazing.

You can always set up an alternate email address just for Y! Answers and then supply it in 'Edit Profile". That way you can separate your usual email from the brat-spam.

BAD IDEA!! TAKE DOWN UR EMAIL AND AIM NOW PLEASE! I PUT MY AIM ON HERE AND RANDOM PEOPLE STARTED MESSAGING ME. I HAVE MY AIM SET UP WITH MY CELL PHONE SO DURING CLASS I WAS RECEIVING LIKE 50 INSTANT MESSAGES FROM PEOPLE I DIDNT EVEN KNO! THEN PEOPLE DIDNT EVEN HAVE QUESTIONS!
