City water tastes revolting, I won't drink it so I stick to juice, but carton or bottle juice is half sugar!

I started on herbal tea, and it's delicious, but since summer is on it's way, it's too hot to drink in the day time.
Can it be chilled without becoming bitter? Is there something I should be adding?

And can I drink eight cups of tea a day? Instead of eight glasses of water? The flavour helps get the quota down, otherwise I just can't swallow that much tap water.

yes you can make herbal ice tea. if it is bitter it likely has a green tea base and your water is to hot or you steep it to long. try a different kind. though most herbal teas, like ice tea its self need a sweetener of some kind to be yummy

Yes but it cannot be a good substitute for water daily consumption of a certain quantity of which is essential for maintaining a good equilibrium of human body! Eight litres a day is suggested but depends on metabolism and size of one's body!

yeah, just put in the frig, and if you're worried about it becoming bitter, then just buy a pack of tea, but don't drink a lot of tea cause it's like coffee, it'll keep you awake and it'll give you bad breath if you drink it too much
