that is physical abuse done on one member of the family by another member. it is still domestic violence if you beat each other with each other's consent, because the 'violence' part is still there. however, if you keep it to yourself, the legal authorities would not get involved. the question is why do it? is it some sort of thing to spice up your marriage or just letting off steam against each other? if you just want to settle issues in a physical way, why not just go to the gym, put on boxing gloves and get on with it... it's a good way to burn off calories and release tension... afterwards, go home, relax your tired muscles in the tub and if you still have extra energy left, have sex with your hubby....

If it is a foreplay, it is not a violence. But if it is serious and hurt either or both, it is violence even though with mutual consent. In that case, both of you should consult a psychiatrist or a family councillor.

In India you can do what ever you want, but in the United States your husband doesn;t have to lay a hand on you and he still can be arrested on simple battery. The Family Violence Act today is not a game. The State will prosecute.

A domestic violence is when there is a dispute in the home. like an argment or fight. umm.. i dont know if there is mutual consent, i think that if they are going to carge u then one of u has to report it, and if u mean indea the country then their laws are like totally different than the united states, and i think their aloud to beat their wives over there. but i wouldnt try to beat HIM if I were u they frown upon that in india.

That would depend. Is it a sex game? Is it a play thing? No one simply goes out and says let's beat on each other. Why not seek counseling; there are some serious dysfunctional issues with you two. India's laws are different from those of the Western world.

Consentual abuse is not domestic violence.
Domestic Violence is a pattern of physical, emotional, verbal, and sexual abuse, which includes, but is not limited to, threats, intimidation, isolation, and/or financial control. Domestic Violence is an intentional pattern of behavior that is used by one person as a means to harm and take power and control over another person in the context of a dating, family, roommate or caretaker relationship.

There is domestic violence when a spouse beat the other spouse. However, if there is consent, no crime is committed.
