Who cares? Its an ad. It is not an insult, can't even imagine why you think it is and I don't think they care if you drink it or not. Sure glad I don't have time to worry about petty things like this.

How is that insulting?...it's the same thing, it's only a matter of language and the ad trying to sound catchy...people find foreign things interesting.
The point is that tecate is originally a mexican beer.

What they think calling it will do for marketing doesn't really bother me. For a while there, all bottled water sounded French, remember? Stupid, since it just reminded us how much more it cost than it should.

tecate was my drink of choice when I lived in Mexico in the 80's. It was made there back then.

If something this small & insignificant gets you THIS mad I can only imagine how stressful your life must be. Do you have nighmares at night about someone making you call beer "cerveza" or is this another "I refuse to learn Spanish!" protest? By the way, Tecate IS crap. Negra Modelo is MUCH better. But then again you will probably never know that because to order it you have to use Spanish.

Is there anything you won't complain about? Who cares about some commercial? Tecate is a crappy beer, it's on the same level as bud light but it's cheaper and I like drinking it when I'm on the golf course.

I AGREE....and i believe they say that because they know that their nasty drink doesn't stand a chance competing in a "beer" market.
they are trying to distance themselves from the competition because they cant handle the competition...
Why do you think all the Mexicans drink BUD LIGHT? seriously i worked at a gas station for nearly a year and that was all that they bought....unless they were cheap then they bought natural light....
it was very rare to get the Mexican buying tecate. the only ones that did were the young gangsta ones that wanted to impress their girlfriends.
PS for you who is reading this wanting to report me for being racist please remember that Mexican is a NATIONALITY not a race.
