So I was at a resturant and these siblings were just joking around and they seem too close. Too happy and snuggly. To me i find it disgusting.
this was a brother and sister they are in their teens.

Well there is something that you have to remember. there is a bond between siblings that is stronger that any other bond. What kind of a family would it really be if sibling, parents and other family members never hugged, tickled, PESTERED, or "goofed around. The bond would be week, and they would not care about each other like they should be able to. That's a big reason why family's break apart so often, because the bond isn't there.
Now on another note. It really depends on how "close" they were getting. I wouldn't be surprised if they were practicing Incest. With today's world you would prob. not want to know what goes on in the average house hold.
I do agree though I have seen some siblings that I would have thought were dating or even married. Its disgusting and Wrong. I am totally against it!

What's WRONG with brother and sister being close? Since I left home, my oldest sister and I have grown very close. When I'd come home on weekends, I'd often take my sister out...skating, a movie, state fairs. When I'd go out with her and her husband, she'd dance more with me than with him (he's a wooden statue when he dances anyway). We'd walk with our arms around each other, hold hands on rides and while we skated. We never were that close growing up, and I think we were unconsciously making up for that time we lost as kids. There's nothing sexual about our closeness. Anyone who thinks there is is one sick , perverted loser, with some serious personality problems.
Oh, she's 56 and I'm 60. So just get your sick, ugly thoughts out of the gutter.
It's really sad and sick minded to think that a brother and sister being close is DISGUSTING.
If that offends you, oh well.

I have a huge household, and get together with all of my siblings, besides one (we're like chalk and cheese). I would not say any people are relatively near even though, that is a disgrace.

well, unless they were feeling each other up and kissing each other, i don't think it would be gross.

did you and your family do these types of things?
were you ever around others that did?
most familys that have a open relationship with their children and talk about EVERTHING, are like this, and the children feel very and extremely comfortable around their parents and siblings. its natural. If youdon't like it, go to another table, orleave. simple as that.

The fault there are the parents and they need to be repromanded for allowing all this to happen. And for not seeing it and they do and are turning their heads and ignoring it. They need to be sent off to learn how to control things like this. A reform school for parents if it did exist. But then a counceling service would be helpful. They are turning their eyes and ignoring the negative. They need help and do not realize it.

Maybe they ought to chill a bit in public, but I think it's reasonable for them to be close and affectionate with each other.
Of course that should stop well short of incest, and it probably does. If they are related to you it might be something you could mention to their parents.

No...they are closer to each other than they are to any one else in this world, even their parents...(according to genetics, blood relation, etc. ) Even if siblings seem to fuss and want to distance themselves when they are young, as they grow older, they will become closer as the years pass. Hide and Watch!

Snuggling as teens? That is a little to close. Otherwise, being close to your siblings is great....it should be a built in best friend for life.

more familys should be close. there is nothing wrong with it unless something else is going on.my husbands family is really close hug each other tell each other they love each other. i think its wonderful. my family wasnt like that.i think all familys should have a close relation ship so especially kids would be willing to go to there parents about things.
