Hooksteve is almost correct! The second was to lie by Satan.

Genesis 3:1 "Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?"

Here we see the very first sin. The sin of deception on Satan's part by confusing Eve with a twisted question.

Look at the question: "Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?"

Eve becomes confused, and has to correct Satan, which causes her to now interact with him.

Like the trolls here at Y!A, Satan trolls the garden with a loaded question, and Eve bit on the bait! Which caused her to answer him, and begin the sinking of the hook in her mouth, just like when we answer a troll's question here...

If Eve would have said... "You are wrong, you speak wrong of God's Word, be gone. For I shall tell God that ye have spoken falsely of His Word." And she simply walked away?

Then all would have been different. But of course we know that was not the case.

Which is the same reason many here say to ignore the trolls, never answer their questions, and they will go away!

SUPPOSEDLY it was when eve took the apple from the tree and ate it like a loser person who ate things off of trees too much. and then she had like a millions sons with adam who had one rib less than her cuz MEN and woMEN so women were taken out of men. so men are supposed to have one rib less than women but i don't think thats right so anyway. so go eat an apple off a tree if you are so compelled to do so. SINS!

Rebellion! When Satan put Eve into a test he was obviously placing himself against God.

Based on Islam,
the very first sin was when Satan refused to bow down to Adam. Satan said "I am created from fire, and he is created from mud" "I am better than him, he should bow down for me"

So, that was the very first sin.

When Satan told Eve that she would not die if she ate the fruit. He lied to her, that was the first sin.

They ate of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil after God told them not to eat of it. They broke the very first law.

Pride.

I think the first sin was the thought that one human should have to work for another human who was capable of working for himself. Or the idea of "possession."
The cave-dudes that came up with those ideas should have been stoned to death.

The very first sin was pride. The pride in thinking that Lucifer knew more than God, Was equal to God. That was the sin.

Blindly accepting that which cannot logically exist?

No, seriously, it was the hubris inherent in the tale of Adam and Eve eating from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, according to most Christians.
