I'm so sad I can't load youtube on this LAN. I've got to get to a cafe.

I still like to hear MmmBop by Hanson. Really stupid song. I just can't help liking it.

I listened to the song about the 'Caravan of love' over and over again when I was a little girl (The Housemartins version, even worse...). Still, when I hear it now, it makes me warm inside, making me remember those times.

Now come on, every woman every man, join the caravan of love!

# hahaha, Boys2men! It has been a while since I've heard that one :)

I have lost my shame about liking the vulgar a long time ago. If I like something, well, I like it. And I'm not ashamed to say it loud.

Well, let me see... I have found out that Orhan Gencebay is making serious music, so that doesn't count. I have many examples in movie industry:

I like Arnold Schwarzenegger movies, especially the ones tending to the funny side, like True Lies, Twins, Eraser and such. How about that?

I like Vin Diesel in Pacifier. I like Jet Li movies. Bride and Prejudice. I'm sure I can remember many more, too.

Well, I am proud of my musical preferences, Turkish music ( from pop to classical , and even some arabesk tracks), Arabian music ( from Algerian Raï to Egyptian beautiful orchestrations, and the Arabian-Techno-Loundge), Flamenco ( from the pure original one to New Flamenco Fusion vibes), Jazz ( from classical Gershwin,Baker,Basie tunes to Zawinul and Davies particular compositions, and of course Jazz-Rock and Smooth Jazz ), Soul-Funk-R&B( Stevie Wonder is my spiritual father ), Latin music,( from Cuban Son to Colombian Vallenato , and of course Bolero from the Caraibbean )...

I sometimes appreciate some french caraibbean popular songs, the "zouk-love" genre, but I admit that sometimes the melodies may be a little too basic, and the tracks are enjoyable to listen to because of the syncopic and sensual rhythm...
The Reggaton is very hot , and his powerfull percussions make me feel good when I 'm listening to Tego Calderon...But there is a kind of lack of inspiration, regarding the melodies...

Sometimes, there are some old songs that I don't like anymore, in every kind of music, but I may feel ridiculous if I mention those songs... For example, when I was 15, I used to like garbage songs such as "Bad" from Jackson...Today, it's quite a shame, isn't it ?...At that time I was stupid, like the kids nowadays who dare liking the pathetic hip-hop...

Why would I be ashamed of the music that I listen. I listen to good old 60s rock and folk. I listen to classical jazz and country. I listen to symphonic music and arias. I listen to ethnic music. I listen to Turkish music (but I dont like arabesk/fantezi. is there such a genre?)

Ask the manager to post a sign for you in the laundry-stating what you want it to say. This way none of the girls can say it came from you(even though it was your idea).

Not ashamed but embarassed, as the singer happens to be my mate soul (although I've chosen to be distant for a while)...
I can send the song to you, if interested...
