I've noticed my 2 year olds jaw making clicking sounds when he opens his mouth wide. Could this be TMJ at such a young age? Where should I take him? The doctor or the dentist?

Doctor, always doctor first. It may be something other than TMJ, and your doctor would know that better than the dentist. Your doctor can also refer you to the right dentist.

The doctor first.

dentist first, he can do an x-ray to see if its TMJ. It may be nothing, or he may need threrapy or surgury. Good luck!!
