there is typically NO waiting. at most, you will get the weekend off(less duty) and fly out on Monday morning. or, you could fly out at any time over the weekend, to include immediately after PIR.

NO LEAVE will be authorized between Boot and A school.

Okay... First, MA school is in San Antonio Texas. At Lackland AF base. Second, right now, the hold for MA school has been up to a month long. So you will go through basic and then put on hold AT RTC. You will remain on recruit "status" until you ship to SA. Good job on choosing this great branch! I'm having fun. I'm over at TSC (not ntc) now and I love it. YAY! Good luck and remember that RTC is all a head game!

It depends. Could be as long as 2 weeks but if you are going for MA you might just go across the street so might be the same day.

RTC and NTC are next door to each other.
