We adopted this puppy from a shelter several months ago and we are always trying to guess what she is. Our best guess is a lab/ doberman mix. She is about a year old now and 70 lbs. Does anyone have a guess as to what she is??? Thanks!

Hi, I definitely see the Lab. but I see no Doberman in her.
I have heard the vets can now do a test, like dna to determine the breeds of mixes. If you want to know for sure you can go that way.
She looks like a sweetheart. Be proud of yourself for saving her life!!

She looks a whole lot like a great dane to me - but that doesn't mean she'll get as big as one. Are those current pictures? She still looks so much like a puppy. She'll probably fill out quite a bit still, and may even get a little taller. One of the danes that comes to the clinic is HUGE, his head is about the same level as my chest, yet he only weighs 120 pounds - they have a very slender build. She does look fairly tall in those photos, too., with looooong legs.
I would also guess that there's a little bit of lab in her, as thick as her tail looks. She definitely doesn't look 100% great dane to me, but I can see it in her.

I think you are right on with your guess. I definitely think she is a dobi/lab mix. Pretty girl!!! Lots of times, if she has a sweet disposition that's a pretty good indication that she has lab in her. You can definitely see the doberman in her physically. I've been told that this mix makes a nice family pet!!!! Enjoy her!!!!

Lab /doberman /pit bull
I think one of her parents was mixed with pit. that's where she gets the eyes. The doberman is in her features, ears, mussel body, lab is all over her. But i know it is hard to tell from the pictures.

It's hard to tell, the photos aren't the best to try to guess. In the top photo the face does have a little Doberman look to it. She could be Lab and doberman.

With her ears she looks like a doberman pincher yet she does look like she has Lab too. 70 lbs. she is going to be a big dog great security. Dogs are wonderful!

Well, it looks like in my opinion a lab, doberman, shepard, greyhound mix to me I am not an expert but I have seen a mix like that before.
