Firstly they have to show the other women they know more
It seeds out of insecurity and peer acceptance then graduates to to a stage where the ears automatically close
when the mouth opens HA!
on a serious note women tend to be (scientifically) better than men at MULTITASKING thats why it becomes second nature to them to talk all at once about 10 different things Imagine a man at an all women AA meeting !!!!

ok I'm going to sound like a nerd ha ha. but actually it's because boys have longer vocal cords then girls, so it's harder for guys to talk but very easy for girls. Which is why girls say an average of 75,000 words a day but boys only say about 25,000.

Girls often talk in order to build relationships and get closer. A girl who talks to you is probably trying to build a relationship with you.
