I seriously feel like making myself throw up, but i know it's not good for my body. What should I do if I ate too much today?

You need to get on a balanced diet and start eating healthy.

For breakfast....instead of eating junk like chocolate rice crispie cereal you need to eat a cereal that is good for you....try Kashi cereals or Total. Drink juice since you already had milk in your cereal. This will give you a daily fruit serving.

For lunch, eat something balanced....not buttered popcorn. Try eating a sandwich with whole wheat bread. Or, a salad with grilled chicken....but make sure to get a low fat dressing. Salads can really hide fat grams and calories on dressing!

For dinner, try having two veggies (example: green beans and carrots), a protein or meat source (example: grilled chicken breast or pinto beans), and a bread. (always whole wheat bread).

Some more good tips that are really simple are to:

Avoid soft drinks
Avoid processed foods
Avoid white grain pastas and breads (always whole wheat)
Avoid trans fat
Limit saturated fat
Eat higher amounts of UNsaturated fats

Never make yourself throw up after eating; it can become addictive and lead to a serious eating disorder. Just learn to eat healthier and that is what is important. Always strive for a balanced diet (which definitely does NOT mean starving yourself or over eating).

For snacks, eat whole grain crackers, fruit, carrot sticks, etc.....

i'm meant to be on a eating recurring, yet i've got had a touch a binge in the present day... Breakfast - 3 strawberries, 12 grapes, 3 cherry tomatoes, and 2 slices of white bread. Snacks: 2 French Fancies and a Terry's Chocolate Orange bar. save ingesting wooded area end result drink, which has lots of energy. Lunch - Quorn (pretend meat) fowl slice and 2 Quorn sausages, in rolls. Dinner - Small egg fried rice. it fairly is 10 O'clock, and that i've got purely eaten 2 small bread rolls. I actual have 0 self administration whilst it includes foodstuff, and it somewhat is the reason i've got began putting it right into a foodstuff diary. Mehhh :/ i think of you're actually not eating adequate, it fairly is easily no longer adequate energy. in case you consume below 1200 energy an afternoon, you will no longer drop some pounds. you will possibly desire to consume some extra issues, in spite of the fact that if it fairly is an exceedingly healthful weight-help plan. :)

It isn't that you ate too much.. the problem is there is no balance and you ate all the wrong things. Where are the veggies in this mess. Popcorn is not a meal. Chocolate cereal? It isn't the quantity that is the problem, but the fact you are choosing foods with a lot of caloric density, packed with really bad things for your body, and none of the good stuff your body really craves. Throwing up won't help, because then you'll be back to zero and still will not have made up the nutritional deficit.

Uh...no, that is not too much food. I don't know how you lasted through the first half of your day on only cereal and a small bag of popcorn. I would have passed out from hunger.

Remember that you do not want to eat less than 1200 calories a day. Below that, you screw up your metabolism and will actually gain weight. Just eat a normal, balanced diet, and get some exercise in.

Ok you did not eat to much today. Yes I agree eat more vegetables and fruits. Try not to have popcorn for lunch. Eat a turkey sandwich with some fruit. Also only have 2 cheese bread things. For breakfast try a Kashi Go Lean Granola bar.

I agree with CB-quality, not quantity, is your problem. You ate simple carbs that didn't provide much in the way of nutrients all day, so of course you overate at dinner when your body was telling you it was starved for nutrients. You also consumed WAY too much fat.
I'm glad you realize purging isn't the solution. What is, will be changing your diet to a balance of lean protein (did you know shrimp is high in cholesterol?), whole grains, lots of raw or simply cooked veggies and fruit. Then you will not overeat and hopefully stop obsessing over the amount you ate rather than what is good to eat.

I'm glad you feel that throwing up is not the answer. We all splurge from time to time. Don't beat yourself up about it. Healthy living is a lifelong habit...you should expect fall backs.
If you ate too much today, then eat less tomorrow. Eat a healthy breakfast (make it as large as you want) and make the rest of your meals small. Steer away from starch and just focus on veggies and protein.

Are you kidding me? You barely ate anything except for dinner, and you only ate as much as you did for dinner because you starved yourself all day. Even if you had eaten too much, it's not a big deal, just eat better tomorrow, and do it by having full, balanced meals. Do NOT throw up.

Life is too short to feel guilty, especially for no obvious reason...you did not eat that much !!!Just relax and look forward to tomorrow....It is better to balance your meals throughout the day. Do not eat the most at night....Exercise and physical activity are very important.

I gotta tell you, I'm really worried about all you girls who post these kinds of things on Y/A. No, you did not eat too much today. No you can't make yourself throw up to feel better...that's called bulimia and it's a serious health risk, not to mention a potentially addictive behavior.

Please, talk to your parents about your body image issues, and get some help before it gets out of control.
