is it a good idea...?

to be kinda tight with a girls parents before you tell her how you feel? they kinda chaperone alot of stuff and i leave nothing but good impressions, do you think it would help me when it gets to the point where they have a say in it?

It helps but don't count on them making up the girl's mid for her. Could your parents convince you to date someone?

No not really but it will lay the groundwork if you want to marry her some day then you will have good Relationship with them. Which is a very good thing
