i was at the dentist and the lady put it a piece ( braces) on my left side in the back, when she got a piece off i felt it fall in my throuat i tried to hold it but it feel down my throat and i sallowed it ever since then I had a pain in my left side of my back, like in the middle, almost where my shoulder blade is, i feel it mostly when im lefting something or move a certain way, im i in serious need of medical condition? it happened tuesday i had my period and my period ends today could it be my period?? help please!

It doesn't sound like it is related to your period, but more likely a muscle strain. The only thing I can think of is that you might have inhaled in and it entered your lung, though MUCH MUCH more likely you would have swallowed it and passed it out in your stool (poop). A chest xray would confirm this and might be suggested by your Dr. if your symptoms continue. Let them make the call.

If you swallowed something on Tuesday, it is already out of your system. It is Friday already.
Since it is a small piece, the only danger would be to puncture something inside. If it punctured something in your body, you would have had a very high fever, nausea, caughing up blood, and likely ended up in a hospital. Did you have any of these conditions? What did your dentist say?
Most likely, you are experiencing muscle tightness or something totally unrelated. If it is a sharp pain or doesn't go away, you would want to consult a doctor.

Gosh I have no idea but I think you should go to your doctor or call your dentist straight away to ask if it was dangerous!
It sounds like there definately is a problem whether it was from your braces or not!
