As Dr. Jonathan Sarfati says, we need to quit calling evolution a theory; that is giving it too much credit. “Goo to you” evolution is an unsubstantiated hypothesis or conjecture, not a theory.
Are we the ones with blind faith? Where you there when something popped into existence from nothing and exploded? No, well do you see something pop into existence from nothing today? Were you there when non-living matter gave rise to life? No, well do you see non-living matter giving rise to life today? Where you there when single-celled organisms gave rise to many-celled organisms, when invertebrates gave rise to vertebrates, when ape-like creatures gave rise to man? No, well do you see it happening today? You have to believe that matter came into existence by itself and then arranged itself into information systems by blind chance. That is what goes against real science.
Swedish biologist Soren Lovtrup made an interesting statement: “I suppose that nobody will deny that it is a great misfortune if an entire branch of science becomes addicted to a false theory. But this is what has happened in biology...I believe that one day the Darwinian myth will be ranked the greatest deceit in the history of science. When this happens, many people will pose the question: How did this ever happen?”

Dear VideoGamesaremyI...:

Actually evolution is correctly called a theory, and will ever so be unless it is scientifically proven. There is only one proof available, that being a transition from ne animal type INTO another.
The fact that something is theoretical does not negate, nor prove its truth
Evolution either did happen or it did not
Either God exists or he does not
Until one is observed (and this is claimed to have happened of God) it will forever be a theory.
Many wish to discount Biblical evidence as invalid, based on it origin, and antiquity, whereas living humans MUST be allowed to testify, whether they live now or recorded their testimony long ago. if it not to be so, then what was written in Darwin's time is also invalid, due to the fact that he is no longer with us.
Some truths will never, and can never be proven. But some will be disproven!

Just where is this large body of evidence? Evolution is Theory, and a far fetched one at that. If evolution is true why can't we cure even the common cold, okay lets try something hard, Cancer, millions die everyday, if were are so smart why are we still dieing. Evolution has no evidence whatsoever. It just makes money. If Evolution went away thousands of Jobs would disappear and economies would fail. Evolution is just theory. And a rich one at that, you don't think all those scientists are drawing your salary do you. They make big bucks while we sit here making little bucks. Whats scary to me is that they have no fear of telling this stuff, no fear of the creator at all, I personaly believe thats on the road to a dark place.

The problem with theories is unfalsifiability. A theory that explains everything is useless. No credible test has supported the notion that one species can evolve into a new species--only resemblances across species that could stem from a common template used by an intelligent designer. Ten thousand generation of fruit flies zapped with x-rays, and no new species.
Cheers,
Bruce

I once heard a saying: "Evolution was invented by people who were created". In other words, it is just another worldly conclusion as to how we all got here. People always say "oh, you believe that there is a person in heaven who created all of this" But is evolution is believable? We just evolutionized from nothing into something? NO! So, technically, evolution is just a theory (opinion or guess) as to how we became human for those who are non-believers of God.

I can say that I have evidence that a certain person is a jerk. When I present my evidence some people might think this person is actually very cool. Theory means its just an opinion of what they see, not an actual fact. For example, fact- you are breathing and your heart is beating. No theory there.

I agree with you, but want to add something. Evolution is a scientifically proven theory and creationism of bible is not. I 24 years old natural philosophier hereby say unto you all :) scientifically proven theories are discoveries of the law of the world that based on knowledge, and theories from faiths and religions are inventions of spiritual people that based on believe other than knowledge.
Any one can say whatever they want about evolutionism, but that does not make one's ideas sound. Centuries ago we thought the earth was the center of the universe, becasue we chose to live in illusions and fault ideas. The theory which indicated the earth is not the center of the universe but a planet in our solar system was only a theory too, but that theory leaded us to live closer to perhaps the God.

You are absolutely correct. Christians throw around the word theory like its something that popped into some guys head one morning. The worst part is that many Christians know what the word theory is, but still use it inappropriately! That truly shows how irrational and just plain stupid Christian arguments, and Christians are.
