I agree that it would be wonderful if it did happen. But before we have a world of peace and harmony there are so many things that need to change. I always believe if we can make the world directly around us, look like the world we want to see, then there is hope. By no means ill anything like this be easy, but where there is hope there are people working towards it.

Yes if a live and let live attitude is adopted.. Religious conflicts/wars historically speaking were oftentimes about money, power, land.. Religion was used as an excuse for the conflict.

From a Christian perspective, Jesus said love one another, turn the other cheek and NOT go fight each other..

A theory is that Judas turned in Jesus to push Jesus to calling down a legion of Angels to vanquish the Romans and re-establish the Davidic kingdom but that was not Christ's mission/intent. Despite being one of the inner circle 12 in close communication with Jesus, Judas did not get what Jesus was saying or did not want to...

A Catholic..

Not likely.

I like peace as much as the next person, but I also think that everyone singing all day amidst the butterflies and rainbows and never arguing about anything - ever - sounds like a bloody boring existence. I'd be happy if we could just stop killing each other.

I don't think so. I think there will always be fighting and racism in the world.. It's a hard thing to get over for some people. But yes, it would be nice if people got along.

cooooooooL times are coming guy. Jesus told a parable about a sower who sowed his field with wheat. But an enemy came and sowed tares. The laborers asked what they should do. But the master said let them grow up till harvest lest we tear up the wheat also. At harvest the tares will be pulled up and burned and the wheat gathered into the granary.

Great question !!! The answer is YES - when ??? At the return of Jesus Christ to this earth ... He will be there in person, to give direction and instruction to how HE wants us to worship Him - He will remove all doubt, in a loving and guiding way. A role-model - Supreme !!!

It would be nice. I think the problem is that people just can't understand each others defferent beliefs, and most don't try to. Maybe someday. Hopefully.

its a shame that some folks do not get along with others because they do not share the same beliefs. i refuse to talk to anybody that will argue that their belief is the right one and the only one. they should have their beliefs and i should have mine.

probably not. nobody can seem to understand that people just have different beliefs and that's okay. They think that everyone must believe the same thing. Why can't people just believe what they want and then get on with their lives?

who knows?

sincerly, katie

It all depends on if people can keep their beliefs to themselves. You are entitled to believe anything that you want BUT when you want to share what others do not believe or want to hear is when the anger and hate starts.
