Just because you get saved doesn't mean you never sin again. We are still in this world & still face many temptations & trails. His forgiveness is not just for one time but over & over again. Of course He forgives you! The sacrifice of His Son, Jesus Christ, for the forgiveness of our sins would be in vain if He didn't forgive. You feel bad about lying because you know it's wrong. Ask God's help to strengthen you & help you not to lie. He will help you, just as He forgave you & just as He saved you.

Just asking to forgive doesn't mean you actually want to be forgiven. Sometimes we feel guilt and want to purge the guilt without losing the desire for what we feel guilty for doing. From now on Every Morning pray (which should happen anyway) that you would no longer feel the need to lie. That God will rip out the desire of that sin from your life. Kill the sin, kill the guilt from the source. As a Christian it should not be your desire to just be forgave, but to quit making sins that add to the burden Your Christ Paid for on the Cross.

Christians are not perfect, just forgiven!!!
Forgiveness wipes out the past and permits us to enter the land of new beginnings.
Billy Graham states: “God’s forgiveness is not just a casual statement; it is the complete blotting out of all the dirt and degradation of our past, present, and future. The only reason our sins can be forgiven is that, on the Cross, Jesus Christ paid their full penalty. But only as we bow at the foot of the Cross, in contrition, confession, and repentance, can we find forgiveness.
I hope this helps. I know it helps me every time I read it. God Bless You!

Of course he is!
The fact that you are bothered when you do lie means that you are growing in your faith. Being a Christian is not going to be easy. Things will happen, mistakes will be made, the point is to try and not make those mistakes all the time. Getting to that point doesn't happen overnight. Just continue to pray that the Lord will continue to help you to be more like him. It will all work out for the best!

If you belong to Christ, He'll forgive you better than a good, loving parent! But He does better, He'll use your garbadge and turn it around for you. He'll get you where you should be...just keep seeking Him.
The question isn't how bad you are the question is: are you willing? The problem is when people run away from the Lord. As long as you are running toward Him, He doesn't give up on you. Get it?

I dunno about you but Im Catholic and we are taught that God's mercy is greater than we can EVER imagine. It is ENDLESS. You can be forgiven for anything. I dunno about hell and who exactly goes there but we learn that ANYone can be forgiven for ANYthing. The heaven and hell thing depends on the act or sin and it is mainly up to God himself. Did u know that the man who killed Saint Maria Goretti spent most of his life in prison and YEARS later had a dream of her and iin the dream she forgave him. (she forgave him in real life too) So this man (forget his name) eventually went on to repent after the dream and later became a religious brother. (kinda like a monk i think)
So...anyone can be forgiven. Im Catholic and it is tough sometimes and I ALWAYS fail to do or NOT to do something. But I also know that I can be forgiven when I am ready to confess what I have done. You dont need to be Catholic to understand that God is ETERNAL. He is forever. The thing to do is try not to do these wrong things anymore. I know how hard it is...BELIEVE ME...but it is possible to stop completely.
There are different kinds of lies. MOST are sins tho. But yiu have to be truly sorry and remember your bad feelings before u do it again. And if u ARE Catholic...please dont lie to a priest or hide certain sins in confession and THEN take communion. This is one of the worst things anyone can do. This is sacriligious. A lot of people lie or leave out bits of sins in confession and then take the body of Christ. But it is absolutely wrong. If youre not Catholic, just pray really hard and very often. As often as you can. You are forgiven because Christ said anything we ask in His name will be given. And YES God hjears you ALWAYS and answers your prayers. You just have to know how to llook at it.If you donr get what u want...He said "No". Simple as that. But pray for yourself. Pray for God to end these things youre doing. Remember to pray for others too. Always. OK?...This is all i know hon. Hope it helps.~God Bless~

What we are to do is confess our sins: “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). Please note that this Scripture does not mention asking God for forgiveness. Scripture nowhere instructs believers in Christ to ask God for forgiveness. What 1 John 1:9 tells us to do is “confess” our sins to God. The word “confess” means “to agree with.” When we confess our sins to God, we are agreeing with God that we were wrong, that we have sinned. God forgives us, through confession, on an ongoing basis because of the fact that He is “faithful and just.” How is God “faithful and just?” He is faithful by forgiving sins; that He has promised to do for all those who receive Christ as Savior. He is just by applying Christ’s payment for our sins, recognizing that the sins have indeed been atoned for.

Yes, God can and will forgive you. Forgiveness is the very reason Jesus came into the world. Forgiveness is offered to everyone including you and me. To be sorry for committing a sin/s is repentance. Repent & repentance means to be sorry AND to try to turn from, refrain from, quit doing whatever the problem might be. To say you are sorry is a start but the rest (trying your best to quit) needs to take place too.

Everyone fails at one time or another. What matters is what you do afterword. We can choose to ignore our failings or face them. God created you with the will to choose your own path. God will forgive you when you ask Him. You must also learn to forgive yourself. In time you will learn to master the things that bring you down. God really loves you, He knows you, He understands you, He wants to help you grow in faith and love. You are important to Him.

We Christians aren't perfect, but we're forgiven. If we stumble and sin, we are to ask Jesus to forgive us. And He will, if we are sincere.
So yes, even when we mess up, He is faithful and just to forgive us of all our sins.
That is the joy of having such a loving Father!
God bless you!
