credit limit? for example, i do have a credit card with boa with 1000 credit limit and they sent me anorther credit card with 1000 credit limit .thanks you for your answer.

You have to request that second credit card. They may send out those pre-approved offers but you don't have to take any of them.
If you consistently use one credit card and pay it in full every month, they will automatically increase your credit limit every 6 months or so.

people tend to place balances on different cards, with different due dates. so boa figured that out. instead of having those people use another card , their competitor's, why not that second card also be theirs!
