How are they treated? Or I'm afraid that US prisoners are executed on the spot. Further, US soldiers are charged with murder in our courts when they kill Iraqui civilians, and here comes a dumb question. Are the Iraqui insurgents also hold accountable in courts when they kill US or civilians from other countries? I don't hear any outcry from the US government and the American people regarding treatment of US prisoners.

last time i heard they had 4 Americans troops unaccounted for. this means that they were taken prisoner, and no, nobody knows where they are. as for how theyre treated, nobody knows that either. the sad truth is those 4 brave men are most likely dead, although i hope this isnt true.

It is very difficult for the insurgents to take US soldiers as a POW, since when we go out on missions, its almost always in atleast a team sized element, and a soldier will never leave another soldier behind, no matter what, and the enemy isn't fighting us head to head, its all IED's and sniper attacks for the most part, so in most situations, during an IED explosion or sniper attack, the insurgents aren't found.

There are a few situations, that may cause a soldier to become separated from their team, or squad, like when Jessica Lynch got separated from her convoy and got lost, or when helicopters go down and an immediate extraction isn't possible.
Normaly when insurgents capture a soldier or us civlian they'll hold them for several days or weeks, and try to use them to make demands, but they are mostly used for propaganda perpouses. Then they ussually end up beheading the pow sadly. They video tape the beheading and use that also for propaganda perpouses. Sometimes we are lucky enough to gather intellegance on the where abouts of our pows and are able to go in and extract them, and there have been several cases where the pows have been able to escape on their own. They don't treat our pows well either while they are alive, I won't get into exact details.
The reason the US isn't speaking out against treatment of POWs is beacause they really don't have any, its not like veitnam where there were pow camps where soldiers were kept there for many years. Even if they did, they are not a conventional fighting force and have no reguards for the geniva conventions, which actually does prohibit the execution of pows.

i think of there are 2 or 3 militia lacking. we are hoping they're prisoners and are ok.and your assertion is sweet on.If the U. S. government did an analogous because of the fact the terrorist are doing to our people. The ACLU could be suing each and every physique alongside with some others who do no longer keep in mind 9/11 and all the individuals killed.

none of us like it when American soldiers are treated badly. but sadly it has happened and will probably continue to happen. my advice to soldiers in the field is never surrender. take as many of the enemy with you because death from a bullet is less painful than being slowly beheaded.

They only hold US prisoners long enough to execute them for the publicity.

In my opinion, any network or web server showing these executions should be determined to be terrorist supporters and dealt with accordingly.
