God's love is there and the salvation offered by Jesus is always there but sin and pride seem to be big ones that seperate us from a relationship with God.

Pride goes before a fall and a haughty spirit before destruction... and boy are there some here on R & S that are heading that way.

God Bless
Todd

If we act out of anger and fear we can make ourselves feel separated from God's love. In reality, that love has never left us. It is constant and all encompassing.

You can love fictional characters, but they can't love you back. Primitive humans created gods to explain what was, to them, inexplicable. They created gods in their own image, thus gods reflect the humans and cultures which created them.

Hello, Charity:

"Neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:38).

That was said of the first-century church. They accepted Christ notwithstanding death threats, property confiscation, banishment, lions. There were no hypocrites in that pure church. Now, just ask someone to obey God and they will shout "Saved by Grace, we don't need worry about that, we're all saved."

Yes, our sins are separating us from God (Isaiah 592).

Christians choose to separate themselves from being ONE with the SPIRIT by their sin and their 'savior'.

Hab 2:16 the cup from the Lord’s right hand is coming around to you, and disgrace will cover your glory.

Not a thing! God loves us no matter what. He hates sin, but not the sinner. No matter how much we sin He still loves us. He loves us unconditionally.
