This name is Japanese.

Takemoto (竹本)
Take 竹 = Bamboo
Moto 本 = root, or origin
In this context, the name means "Bamboo root"

Yuuichi (雄一)
Yuu 雄 = male
ichi 一 = one
This name means "one male (child)"
It's a pretty common traditional name. I know a couple of Yuuichi's where I'm living.

So this name written out would be 竹本雄一.

Hope this helps.
Peace

Yuuichi is a name given to a first born son.

Lots of male given names have ichi (1) in them and are used for the first born boy.

Many Japanese surnames are really place names.
Takemoto means "bamboo root".
I once met a fellow named Matsumitsu.
I found out that means "three pine trees".
I don't know the exact meaning of Yuuichi.
Sorry.
