If I took Adobe Acrobat Reader out of my Startup (because I rarely use this program), will anything go wrong with my computer during start up? I'm running XP.

I took it out of my startup, and I have no problems other than it takes a few extra seconds for Adobe Reader to open a PDF file now because it isn't already loaded at startup. But that's ok with me because like you I use PDFs so rarely.
