i think that the leadership in congress and the white house are using the troop reduction as a diversion . the sooner the iraqui security forces can assume a greater control of their country , the sooner our troops can move in to iran . will the uk commomweath forces , now in american soil be able to assume a greater role to protect our nation from future shiite terrorist when our troops invade iran? there are 2 executive orders , one from bush that brought in the commomwealth troops to step in our natioanl guards homeland duties , and the other from the second clinton administration that created a us-mexican border joint chiefs military command to be activated in case of emergency . look at the national archives . when you ask the uk commomwealth troops about their job, they will say they are only training .

I sure hope we take this opportunity to invade Iran. From the two corps in Iraq in the west, and the corps in Afganistan in the east.
We ought to at least take back our embassy.

Someone would be very naive to think that we do not already have a bunch of spies in Iran.
As far as invading them by next year I do not think officially no. Things do not move that fast. For sure they are a world wide threat though.
Interesting to me is how nobody really talks about two things. 1. About ten to twelve years ago there was a LOT of plutonium stolen from the old Soviet Union. It is well known that Russian scientist have gone to Iran to work.
2. When the US invaded IRAQ they flew most all their MIGS to Iran in which they thought would be save keeping. What Iran did was take the planes for themselves.

Of course we are did the Secretary of Defense not call you and let you in on it?
John wayne was an actor who got a draft deferment for a bad knee and too many children. The closest he came to doing anything was on a sound stage. John Wayne!

I don't know.
I do know that one of the countries with the highest intelligence, and one that did not advise on Iraq, is rumored as hearing "chatter" about a war with Iran. US led or Israel led, which means the US will be involved, the 'chatter' is getting louder.
Our positioning in Iraq is not a 'Stupid' move in this scenario and our recent contract of weapons to the area is not coincidence!
I’m glad I don’t know but I don’t bury my head in the sand either.

Wishful thinking. If you think congress is obstructing now, wait till Bush invades Iran. That obvious obstruction make a sane foreign policy unlikely and that includes attacking Iran.

China's important coverage for countries no longer of their direct sphere of effect is neutrality. it quite is even the case in Sudan, the place something of the international needs to place extra rigidity on Sudan, yet China needs extra commerce with them. the U. S. has tousled lots with their idiotic regulations on North Korea that they require China to help sufficient there. Plus-- if Iran invides Iraq, enable them to have it. you will locate how lots our invasion has executed for us.

Okay, well I doubt it because they're going to begin withdrawing the troops from Iraq as far as I know.

No. but if Iran as it wants to has nuclear capability, we have no choice. They are in Iraq and will pass nukes to terrorists and have threatened Israel. Should we allow them to strike first especially when we know .?

The screw up in Iraq means that Iran probably won't be invaded any time soon.

Nope.
We might go in with planes or missles and take out nuclear facilities, but we won't invade.
g-day!
