consciousness? With that consciousness, you inherited awareness of time passing, but for what reason is this given?

What is a life without meaning, and what is the meaning and purpose of existence?

Why are you feeling the internal conflict and anxiety, when you are judgmental and when you are playing "god"? - (Actually there are 6 billion others, all unconsciously playing God.)

How much pain are you going to endure before you see what all this means?

What say you all?

Is it true that we are using our time on earth to puff up our egos with power and glory, stubbornly reinforcing a deteriorating sense of worth - playing "God" as a judge and king?

Chrism, could the answer for possessing this unique Consciousness given to men lies in deciphering the code of your thoughts, feelings and behaviors? Could it be that all Your urgings are moving you in the wrong direction and causing conflict to all your decision-makings?Could it be that you cannot control the endless loop of your thinking?
Could it be that, you feel lost and powerless, and whatever you achieve frustrates. It';s never enough?Could it be that, we all want to be number one. We want to be powerful , loved and the center of attention ?But what happens when that goal is foiled, rejected and rebuffed ?Don't we become angry and judgmental then?

You crave power. You hate being powerless and when you create anything,
you want to be acknowledged for your good works. You reward those who appreciate your hard work and damn those who don't. Put all these together and they boil down to something we know as ego. And what is ego other than people aspiring to status such as a god ...

It is literally "Commonsense" that God exists. The proof is seen everyday when I wake up in the morning and take in fresh air. The proof is seen in the birds that fly in the sky and then perch on a tree top. The proof is seen in the perfect order in God's creation. The proof is seen in the reproductive order established by Almighty God. The proof of God is seen in the transformation of Sinners from a life of sin to a life of righteousness.

Indeed God is alive and he is in control of all things.

Praise the Lord everyone.

Colossians 1:16

Have faith dear friends in God.

I think you are trying to sound more cogent and compelling than you actually are.

I seek no proof that God exists. I am not feeling internal conflict. I am not "playing" at all. I simply am. I have been. I shall be again. I am striving to learn the lessons I am here to learn; that's all.

I endure only that pain which is necessary for progression. I let it go when I'm able. Then again, in a physical body, a certain amount of pain seems inevitable; I experienced some today after an incorrect position of my foot on a pedal led to an impact between my crotch and the top tube on my bicycle. Injuries and illness seem to cause all of us discomfort at times. A philosophical viewpoint is unlikely to completely eliminate that.

sweetie, I am not in pain. don't assume.
I don't care why I am here. I AM here so I'll just do what I can and live a good life. and I'll live it for me.
If I die and my living made no impact on the world well so what, I never claimed to be anything special.
I don't question why I exist. Questioning why I exist would make me almost want to believe in god in a way and if god was real then my life and all of this was just one big test. That's bunk. some people have religion because it helps them in some way feel better and more secure in their lives. having religion would do the opposite for me. and I know I'll probably get a bunch of thumbs down or whatever but if you are going to ask me a serious question I'll give you an honest serious answer.

i am not enduring any pain, the purpose if existence is to live and living life to live is not playing god, its just living. the idea of playing god came from someone who believes in god, so if a person does not believe, then they are not playing god, because its not an option.

you are also saying that 6 billion others are wrong, so you and your people - the minority of the world are right, that's great logic. just keep telling yourself 6 billion people are wrong so you can sleep good at night.

the moment i placed my faith back into God I regained all of my confidence and consciousness. what say you? do you feel anxious or conflicted... i know God exists... he is my conscious and my soul. i know because i am no longer a zombie of worldly possessions but a gift to earth and everyone around me. i have peace in my heart and feel free and show others that they are too free of depression and sadness... because the Lord is in my heart and mind. He brought me to this consciousness...

None of your hypothetical questions are any proof of the existence of God.

The fact that you can speculate like this simply indicates that we, as a species, uniquely possess consciousness and can manipulate our knowledge of the world around us, nothing more.

The only people your so-called arguments will convince are those who have already bought into the ''faith'' issue. They have no rational integrity of their own as points for consideration.

You are saying that it is GOD that is screwing up our brain. What good is He then? At lease Satan promote free sex and eternal orgies to everyone and gave humankind free pass to do whatever they like without having the feeling of remorse. For me, the choice is clear as crystal....
