I think it is a good idea, we all know Penske can afford it. I am surprised it has taken him this long to add on a 3rd car. If I had to choose another IRL driver to come over I rather it be Hornish JR than any of the other drivers. I personaly would have rather seen a NASCAR driver in their car like Kenny Wallace!!!!!! But with the program they have I'm sure they will have much success with who ever drives for them. Go Penske!!

I remember the Alabama gang... Bobby, Donnie, and Davey Allison with Hut Stricklin and Neil Bonnet. Hornish will suck at Nascar... not enough talent. Yeah he wins at open wheel because Penske controls that series but he'll be a horrible cup driver. What a waste.

He is a IRL driver not formula 1, he still has some work to do, he'll struggle till he gets the hang of it, he's a good driver he'll figure it out.. Not sure if he will be as good in cup as he is in IRL, only time will tell...

Hornish has never raced in F1....

He didn't qualify for Sunday's race so he's got some work to do still.

Just another example of the direction that NASCAR is going.
The "Good Ol' Boy" group is slowly disappearing. Does
anybody here remember the Alabama Gang?

Doesn't matter what he drove before, he is a race car driver.
