what size of tires can fit on a 95 dodge ram laramie 4x4 diesel? right now there are 245/75R16 but they look so small on it that it looks funny, i would like something bigger but i don't want to sacrifice control or too much mileage. any recommendations?

I had a 01= 4x4 put a 2" lift front 305x70x16 worked fine>Looked great need side steps or it a pain getting to >Your speedo will be about 8mph slower with the increase in tires>245 look on the door frame should be 265??My truck with a 65hp Dialbo power puck got around 20 mph>K&N drop in> Diesel can take the larger tires to a point and increase fuel mpg>I have a 04.5= 435hp dodge Lar= 4x4 =315 KO/AT and my mpg went to 20 >With the larger tires> You have to add the extra mil= when doing fuel checks>

nothing substitutes a good 360,but if you do change it keep in mind one engine is internally balanced and the other one isn't,so some changes will have to be made to it,but they will bolt right up and work, all the brackets and everything right down to the exhaust manifolds are the same, the right side engine mount is different on the 360 also,do some research on it before you try to do this one,you can use the 360 heads on the 318 and boost the power up on it and still make it meat emission standards, good luck.

Try the 255/65SR16. Kind of expensive and hard to find.
