I would comfort him the same as I would any other person.

Put a hand on him, and ask him what the matter is. If he doesn't answer, give him a few seconds, and then ask again, in a slightly louder voice. If he still doesn't answer after about 5-10 seconds, remove your hand. Ask one last time, with different wording. (Include the words 'Why are you crying' or similar) If there's still no reply, sit down somewhere nearby, and wait for him to calm down to the point that he's ready to talk.

I would hug him and tell him that I am here for him. Then I would just sit with him, so that he would have the comfort of knowing that I can give him support by just being with him, and that I'm willing to listen if he wants to talk.

it's very seldom you'll get to see a guy cry or show his feelings. that's the type of guy you want to be with because they have feelings and are sympathetic to everyone elses feelings. show him that you care about his feelings and talk to him. but not only talk be a good listener even if your bored with the conversation.i went through the same thing with the guy i'm with now cause he caught his girlfriend cheating on him. we are engaged to be married in 2 months.

I hate seeing guys cry. It makes me cry too and I don't even need to know why there are crying in the first place. They don't cry as easy as girls. Its usually because of something really upsetting.

i'd say "aww... do you want to talk about it?", if he says yes, we'll talk and i'll give him advise and comfort [that will vary by the situation he's in] and if he says no, i'll wrap my arms around him and tell him "you know i'm always here for you." then kiss him on the forehead and slowly walk away. [slowly so he can catch up to me if he changes his mind]. aww. what a loving/caring question.

I would cry right along with him, because I can't stand to see a guy cry. Just hug him.

This happened to me when my friend's house burned down and he was out of money and everything. I simply went over to him and hugged him and told him that I would help in any way I could. I kept my promise.

It takes courage for a guy to cry so i think I would allow him to cry. I would just sit and be there for him.
