You know, I don't remember math being Jesus's strongest subject in school. I think he had better, more important things to do...

No. But 1 divided by 3 = .333 . Then if you proof your answer . 3 x 3 = .999. Not even a whole. It can't be proved to equal a whole. No matter what arguments trinitarians use, the trinity concept is polytheism and from the pagan era. I know it's hard to believe you have been taught a lie all your life, but that's exactly what happened. As some keep telling the JWs, you really need to check the history of your religion.

edit: Ms. Lamb needs to quote some scriptures. Doubting Thomas is not the most reliable witness, why don't you quote something from Judas while you are at it?

No, Jesus did not say 1+1+1=1, but in Genesis 1:26-"God said, Let Us make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the beasts, and over all of the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth." and in Deuteronomy 6:4-"Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God is one Lord [the only Lord]."

So, God is One but He is also US in Genesis 1:26. Jesus IS God and so is the Father, as Jesus said in John 10:30 when referring to God-"I and the Father are One." The Holy Spirit is also God as this states: John 3:34-"For since He Whom God has sent speaks the words of God [proclaims God's own message], God does not give Him His Spirit sparingly or by measure, but boundless is the gift God makes of His Spirit!"

{For more reference read John 1:1 "IN THE beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. [Isa. 9:6.]
John 1:2 He was present originally with God.
John 1:3 All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being.
John 1:4 In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men."}

God is 1 Who is The Father (1) + The Son, Jesus (1) + The Holy Spirit (1)...3-in-1. So Jesus did not SAY 1+1+1=1, but...

Ya habibi. Why dont' consider one of the best answers I saw here >>> 1x1x1=1.

In fact the Sun + its light + its heat = 1 too
Religion is not about mathmathics, it is about a true relation with God. This true relation is Christianity. If you look at it as a discoverer you will like it.

That is what the Bible teaches.

Then God said, “Let US make man in OUR image, according to OUR likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” Gen. 1:26

And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’” Ex. 3:14

Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” John 8:58

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1

For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. 1 John 5:7

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14

I and My Father are one. John 10:30

God can't lie. Titus 1:2

Add sugar to water and they intermingle into one liquid. They are no longer separate substances, no longer a separate solid and a liquid, but together they are one. 1 + 1 in this case = 1.

"For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word (Jesus - John 1), and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one." (1 John 5:7)

Gee, I don't think so.

It's that The father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are all encompassing and all God.

Where are you lost?

Decode the Eternal sin to know the importance of the Holy Spirit. Let Him help you in your life.

n9wff, Wow that's cruel, not very Christian of you. Shame on you. Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit cannot be forgiven. Do you know why?

Yes he did. He made it clear that there is only one God. he made it clear that he is that one God, by constantly doing things only God could do. He also communicated with God the Father in heaven, and sent God the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles. He always spoke of the father and the Holy Spirit as "He", indicating He was speaking of a Person. A divine Person. A member of the Most Holy Trinity. At His baptism, God the Son stood in the water while God the Father spoke from heaven while God the Holy Spirit descended in visible form.

There is no such thing as the Trinity, This is largest lie that Satan uses to keep people from knowing who the True God is, if he can do this, he's got you.

He has cleverly kept a large proportion of mankind in darkness by means of false religion, making them think that they are serving God. Lacking in accurate knowledge of God and in love for truth, they may be attracted by mystical and emotional religious services or be impressed by powerful works.

“Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father.” (Matthew 24:36) How do these words confirm that Jesus is not Almighty God?

Jesus says that the Father knows more than the Son does. If Jesus were part of Almighty God, however, he would know the same facts as his Father. So, then, the Son and the Father cannot be equal. Yet, some will say: ‘Jesus had two natures. Here he speaks as a man.’ But even if that were so, what about the holy spirit? If it is part of the same God as the Father, why does Jesus not say that it knows what the Father knows?

1st of all Jesus said: He pointed to God as the Source of his life, saying, “I live because of the Father.” According to the context, this meant that his life resulted from or was caused by his Father, even as the gaining of life by dying men would result from their faith in Jesus’ ransom sacrifice.

Jesus’ being called the “only-begotten Son” does not mean that the other spirit creatures produced were not God’s sons, for they are called sons as well. However, by virtue of his being the sole direct creation of his Father, the firstborn Son was unique, different from all others of God’s sons, all of whom were created or begotten by Jehovah through that firstborn Son. So “the Word” was Jehovah’s “only-begotten Son” in a particular sense,

Jesus is also “Mighty God” and “Eternal Father.” This does not mean that he usurps the authority and position of Jehovah, who is “God our Father.” (2 Corinthians 1:2) “He [Jesus] gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God.” (Philippians 2:6) He is called Mighty God, not Almighty God. Jesus never thought of himself as God Almighty, for he spoke of his Father as “the only true God,” that is, the only God who should be worshiped. (John 17:3;

Rev. 1:1; 3:14, RS: “The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him, why did God have to give the revelation to Jesus, if he is God? .

Does the Bible teach that none of those who are said to be included in the Trinity is greater or less than another, that all are equal, that all are almighty? Mark 13:32, RS: “Of that day or that hour no ones knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” (Of course, that would not be the case if Father, Son, and Holy Spirit were coequal, comprising one Godhead. And if, as some suggest, the Son was limited by his human nature from knowing, the question remains, Why did the Holy Spirit not know?)

John 14:28, RS: “[Jesus said:] If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I go to the Father; for the Father is greater than I.”

1 Cor. 11:3, RS: “I want you to understand that the head of every man is Christ, the head of a woman is her husband, and the head of Christ is God.” (Clearly, then, Christ is not God, and God is of superior rank to Christ. It should be noted that this was written about 55 C.E., some 22 years after Jesus returned to heaven.

Interesting question but I don't get it. What, exactly, are you referring to. The Trinity? The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are all one.

Unless you define your question more properly, most cannot answer it.
