I am so tired of hearing "he turned a lot of fat into muscle"
Fat and muscle are two totally different things.
That being said, it is possible to build muscle and lose fat (which gives the illusion of "converting" fat into muscle)
There are so many exercises and diet plans and the truth is nothing will work unless you have a specific plan drawn out for your body type.
I would recommend buying a program online, yes I know it costs money, but they almost all have a money back guarantee, and if you are truly serious, then what a few bucks really?
Here's the one I used with fantastic results (I didn't even know I had abs!)

Good luck, drop me an email in a few weeks to let me know how it goes.

You can't, because fat does not turn into muscle.
You have two tasks to perform,
1. burn off fat
2. build and tone muscle.
General weight training an cardio training, along with a well balanced, reduced calorie diet, will burn off the fat, and there are several good ab programs out there, as well as the AbLounge.
