i got my first part time job ever and i like this guy...he was being really nice to me at first cuz i was new..now i think its more than that..everytime i pass by he tickles or pokes me and he always asks me for hugs when he leaves and we talk a lot and he always smiles at me..does he like me? oooh ye we are both 17

I'm going to say yes. Any type of physical attention is usually a good sign that somebody likes you as more than a co-worker, especially the hug thing. If he is making an excuse to talk to you (like when he leaves if he is talking to you 'off the clock') that is an even stronger sign.

There are two possibilities here.The first one is that he sees you as his little kid sister(if he has one )at home, that he teases. The only problem is that this behavior ,in the workplace, is considered illegal----sexual harassment---and is discouraged.The second one is that he likes you and is not very good in the romance department and letting the object of his affection aware of his feelings.If you like him and want to pursue a romance with him, then simply ask him the next time he behaves in the same way.Assuming he says yes, then you can tell him he is going about it the wrong way. If the answer is no, then ask him to stop;that you do not like that particular type of conduct.Either way, you both have to talk about office romance and company policy, sexual harassment laws, and what would happen should the romance end, especially if he is your boss or superior.

He may want to be more than friends touching you all the time sounds more like he wants an easy physical relationship
It is important to know what you have in common; personality wise; common interests; hobbies.
Being physical from square one off will ruin the relationship which has to no where to go but down after wards; not to mention the problems that go with.
If there is no sound solid time tested friendship based on mutual respect and trust first; he will have another notch in his belt and you will end up with a first love broken heart.
Set your boundaries; he will respect you for it; love and trust have to be earned not given away on a silver platter.

im gonna say yes he does and if you like him back than give him a little kiss on the cheek and that will send sparks flying but if you dont love him just go with it but not as much with the hugs

Yep, he def. likes you i had a guy do the same thing to me then about a month later he asked me out! So Im pretty sure he likes you alot! Yay same age!

Thats considered sexual harrassment at a job. If you like him tell him not to do that in the work area. It it totally unprofessional.
