I think you worded this question wrong. There is no "best" and "worst" singer. Different people have differnet oppinions.
Like, i personally think that the best male voices are Luciano Pavarotti (R.I.P) and Michael Buble. The Best Female voice in my oppinion is Amy Lee. And the best child voice is defenently .. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9ijwfRTv0o ..this young lad

Opera: Paverotti (Rest in peace!)
Broadway Musicals: Michael Crawford and Bernadette Peters
Soul: Aritha Franklin

well for some people it was Britney spears like in year 2000.
But i think now for rnb is Rihanna, for rap is ..Shoulja Boy, and for rock its either Fall out boys, cartel, or avenged sevenfold...thats my opinion.
