Yep, I got one for saying the word "Google". Do you think it was because I mentioned a competitor? Do you think I'll get a violation notice on this one? Maybe I should leave R&S...

No offense but your question sounds like it was written by someone likely to be reported here - "trolls", "demons" you're just asking for trouble, aren't you?!?
Frankly I don't ever report; I like the free exchange of ideas, the vigorous debates, even the name calling - none of that stuff bothers me.
But someone just said - and exactly right - I've never been on a message board anywhere where censorship in the hands of the users wasn't abused.
It's all part of the game....RELAX!

I think you've probably run afoul of report button abuse. I just cringed when I saw the blurb about the new reporting system. Particularly on the R&S board, I think the potential is gigantic for people to report users with whom they simply disagree, rather than users who actually violate the community guidelines. I'm already seeing frustration among my contacts from people who answered a question with a legitimate, honest answer and got slapped with a violation because someone apparently disagreed with their answer and reported them. As for me, I'm just keeping my head down until the Answers Staff realizes that the reporting function is being abused and needs to be implemented differently.

read the community standards and try some more tactful ways of saying things less words like trolls .if you address ideology instead of making personal attacks you will see a difference .
