If you just get your hair trimmed if about 1/2 inch to 1 inch, at each of your layers it should get rid of all of them. Also if you trim your hair regularly its suppose to grow faster than if you leave it as it is.
Your split ends won't go away by putting anything like conditioner on them. But... once you get rid of them, it helps to use conditioner, so your hair doesn't get dehydrated.
I hope i helped!!

You're supposed to cut your split ends. That'll make your hair grow longer and when you straight iron your hair, try using herbal oil. That works very good. And when/if you cut your split ends, don't cut every split end that you find. Cut it just enough so that the ends of your hair will be evened out. Don't cut the split ends of the hair that's shorter than the rest of your hair unless your hairs gonna be a mess. And keep your hair away from too much heat if it's not protected from some kind of hair product.

I think that you should trim it so that it's even because as your hair grows, it starts to become uneven and also, when you trim it, it gives your hair a fresh start and it'll be able to grow faster. That's why the hair stylists recommend you to trim your hair every 2 weeks or a month. I have split ends too and it really helps me if I use the SunSilk brand. Use the pink kind. It helps your hair and if you put the conditioner directly on the split ends, it helps it a lot and very quickly.

There are hair products to repair split ends. But to be honest you really do need to have your ends trimmed just a bit and then start using the products. Your hair stylist will know just what you need and how much needs to be trimmed.

The only sure fire way to get rid of split ends is to cut barely enough off. I am only talking less than a half inch. It is coool that you have long hair. Nothing will "repair" them they will only look better.

Garnier Fructis makes a split end treatment I think comes in a sphere-shaped bottle you could try.

Use Aloe Vera gel on the ends of your hair, and let it sit for aprox. Two hours the wash out, your split ends will be reduced, and the ones that were visible, will no longer be! Please take my advice, you will be so glad you did!
