...and ugly on the inside? And how many do you know that are ugly on the outside and beautiful inside? What does that say about how you view people in your life?

I'll put it in a different slant of light.
How many people have you met that you just drop your jaw and drule. Really think that person is beautiful?
But once knowing them for some time they begin to look very unappealing?
And when you meet someone very average, as the world would have it~ the longer you know them the more attractive they become!*
But to answer your initial q I know 3 people that are beautiful
(like very gentle on the eye)
who are also beautiful people in many ways apart from looks.
Yet I don't see or treat them as such, because their either
married or Down-to-Earth. *smile*

Poor Darth Cheney, always hated for his beauty:p I have had equal experience of both, people beautiful on the inside and out, and ugly inside and out. It seems like eventually a person's outside comes to match their inside...(I'm getting myself confused)!

I believe that the world is a mirror of who we are inside.
What matters is what we see of the individual inside. Yes, I agree Twinsma many people are judged by the looks, or the clothes they wear. I once disguised myself in rags and with disheveled hair and tried to ask people for directions. People avoided eye contact with me. No one would give me the time of the day. When people see me in my million dollar suit, (not really) or with my Lamborghini (not really) they would want to follow me to the men's room for autographs. (not really). No I am not a celebrity by any means. I am that ordinary looking person just asking for the way. Let's be kind to one another. You never know who you are dissing. You are right, let's not judge people by their looks. Let's try and see the real person inside.

Well I remember years ago at a party,this girl really seemed beautiful on the "inside",but once we went "outside" in the light..HOLY CATS!!!...just kiddin...see how I did that inside/outside twist? very witty..very witty. LOL

Some people also look at a "beautiful" person, and immediately start to look for ugliness, even if it really isn't there.

Plenty of both, twinsma. I think that people are cheating themselves when they judge a book by its cover. I could pretty much have my pick of guys (this was 21 years ago, though; I'm no hottie anymore, lol!) when I met my one and only, who is decidedly not handsome, but went with my heart in spite of everyone telling me that I was nuts. (!!) And although he's got one fault that I'm seriously thinking now about ending it over, there's been a lot of good over the years, too, that I wouldn't trade for anything. Three awesome kids, too.

I knew a bunch of those kinds when I was in high school. So in those 4 years I learned to keep those kind of people out of my life. I just don't let them in my life now. It's not worth it.

You're so right...it's why I could care less about people's physical appearance! They can be deceiving.
