I understand how you feel with not wanting to call the SPCA or Animal Shelter b/c the dog won't get adopted however putting the dog to sleep must be much better than confined to something like that. That's horrible. I just cannot understnad why someone would do something like that to an animal that htey say they love.

First, go to the neighbors and voice your concerns. Tell them that if they fail to increase the living conditions of the dog, then you will call the SPCA or Animal Shelter or police. If they fail to listen to you or ignore you, take pictures of the dogs livig conditions and if possible the abuse. Turn them over to the SPCA or Animal Control and prove to them that this dog is less than cared for, less than loved.

Call the police...they will be arrested and the SPCA is much a much better place to be than the cruel ignorant place the poor helpless little guy is right now. Do something before it's too late...

If you are worried about her safety then call the Animal Control Officers or your locam Humane Society, tell them the situation, give them the address, and they will go get the dog and get the situation taken care of.

Call the PCA or your local Humane Society or animal shelter. That is not only abuse- but illegal!
They will take an animal, not matter what it's age.
If you are worried that someone won't adopt it because it's old, well, maybe you could volunteer?

contact your local humane society or dog rescue group, someone has to report them or the dog will end up spending the rest of her life like she is now. Do something now to help get her out of that situation. Rescue groups take in older dogs and most find loving homes to live out their remaining years.

call the ASPCA, the dog is not to old to be loved by another family who will take care of her/him. there is no way i would sit there and watch the dog suffer like that. CALL THEM. no animal deserves that old or young. you don't have to give your name to the ASPCA. CALL THEM. that dog deserves to have a better life not live in filth and be abused. they will take the dog if it is in that bad of shape. i called the ASPCA for a dog that was hit by a car outside my house a t3o'clock in the morning they were there in about 15 minutes to pick up the dog. they can and will help that dog CALL THEM NOW.

Your local human society can help. Even older dogs get adopted. They are often quieter, calmer, more gracious for people who don't want the hi energy puppies.

omg. if you have actually seen them hit the dog, you should call the police. there are laws to protect animals from abuse. also check the area for no-kill shelters or organizations to help find homes for animals.

good luck!

Please, Please, DO SOMETHING! Call the A.S.P.C.A., those owners are cruel!!!!!!! She needs your help! At least she will be taken care of if they take her. It's not just about whether some one gets her later on, it's about getting her out of that bad situation. They do help them by giving them food, medical care and attention. Poor thing! At least she won't be mistreated and neglected. Don't wait, make that call.
