Any ideas are welcome, even if they are used on young kids. He is acting like a kid by not eating his vegetables anyway!

Like the old commercial for V-8 juice always said. "Drink your vegetables" :). Actually tastes good too.

Could always serve it as a coctail by adding a shot of vodka and a splash of hot sauce.

OK, first of all, he's not a kid. So discuss this with him. Why do you want him to eat veggies? Make sure he knows that you want him healthy and with you for a long time.

Next is why doesn't he like veggies? Are there any that he does like? Can you find similar veggies?

Now, you can smuggle extra veg into a spaghetti sauce, meatloaf, or lasagna. You can make veggie sauces. You can have cut veggies around for crunching on while watching TV. You can have a Veggie of the Week, where you each take turns choosing and preparing a new veggie (totally new!) and critiquing it.

Some veggies are really power packed, like spinach or pumpkin, and only need two tablespoons to make up a full serving.

And some desserts use veggies. Like pumpkin pie. Or carrot cake. Or zucchini bread.

But if he refuses to eat his veggies, then let him. He's an adult. But make them anyway. If he doesn't like what's on the table, he can make it himself.

Oh, some more ideas: Omelette with peppers, onions and mushrooms. Taco Salad. Chef salad. Mashed potatoes with some sweet potatoes or pumpkin blended in. Three or four green beans, wrapped with bacon and baked in the oven. Pickles.

Yeah get a new husband that likes vegetables!!!! Dude my husband will eat potatos, baked and mashed....and DONT YOU DARE get creative and add sour cream or garlic to the mashed. Things he LIKES!!!!!! And the baked potato....dont think twice about a twice baked....holy crap you would think i ran it over with the car. He will also eat FROZEN corn on the cob. COME ON ALREADY.

I make stuffed cabbage. I set the clock for 6 am on sunday to get this dish in the oven by 9am. I cook it for 9 hours which means I am confined to the house ALLDAY. He eats the insides. Cabbage pushed away...of he might get 3 bites full....but do you realize I invested 12 hours of my time bcs YOU LIKE IT????????

Oh and I forgot he will also eat green beans. Only from a can and only cooked with ham hocks, fat back, butter, bacon grease and a heart attack waiting to happen. And these take about 9 to 11 hours CONSTANTLY watched.

Good luck babe and if you figure it out let me know your secret!

Make a casserole with all of the favorite components in it, vegetables, meats, basil, oregano, garlic powder, seasoned salt and a 1/2 cup of water or your favorite broth. Let them steam in a crock pot and let it work for a few hours. If you are a rice eater, then you can have some rice. The seasonings do the trick. Remember this, What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? - Romans 8:31. The Lord daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah. - Psalm 68:19. Peace, Love and God Bless.

I don't know what to suggest honey.... I broke up with a boyfriend because of his poor eating habits. I couldn't handle it any more. Of course, that wasn't the entire reason but it definately contributed to it. I couldn't handle how he would just eat meat and potatoes - nothing else. We were very limited on the places he would go to dinner. Forget ethnic foods like indian or thai.

If he's acting like a kid by not eating vegetables, what are you acting like by trying to force him to eat them?

I predict trouble for your marriage. Guys don't want to sleep with their mothers - and they don't like to sleep alone.

Hit the recipe book. Without spices and sauces, veggies can be blah. Sauces don't have to be full of fat and calories, but you will have to look. Once you have a favorite sauce, make a lot of it and put it into ice cube trays or zip loc bags, and into the freezer they go. ( good time saver ) . Tell him you have tried a new recipe and would like him to try it.

There are various dishes you can make, like a spaghetti type pasta dish, that include vegetables. Or you can compromise. Maybe he has always wanted to go to a baseball game with you. Say I will go with you if you eat your veggies!!!!!

I like Ajinomoto's Stir Fry Vegetables and Seafood. It is simple and easy to make!

dont force him to eat a lot of et. just like babies, try giving him only a little amount until they feel like they are being deprived of getting enough. be sure to add a little spice on the veggies or adjust it to his favorite taste so he will atleast take a bite.
