I did a couiple of things.... one was to tie yarn to my fly line and practice flycasting... casting twards the kittens or cats they loved it.... The other I always place an eye hook in the ceiling and conected a heavey rubber band with string long enough to reach just a bove the floor with a ball attacheched to it. Kittens would play with it for hours..

You can usually find some inexpensive toys, especially feathers, or toys filled with catnip that should make your kitty go nuts and be ready to play! They like balls of string and sometimes they really get into a scratching post, sharpening their nails. You can usually wave something around and most kitties will "bat at it" with their paws for long periods of time. I had a little "motorized" mouse and my kitten had lots of fun chasing after it! Dragging a string behind you while you walk is also good to entertain your kitten. Hope this is of some help to you. Have fun! :)

Our new kitten goes wild for the plastic strips that are around the Ben & Jerry's ice cream lids. He's already lost 2 of them under the refrigerator. Time to go buy more ice cream!

I used to use a few empty 24 pack boxes from soda then cut holes in them and tape them together making a maze for them. Also cut a few windows in the sides and fray the paper you cut. Add some string and balls then your set. Have fun.

my grandma has a 6 mnth old kitten named Joey and we drag a peice of string across the floor and gives him a jingle ball to play with. He's usually very hyper and those toys and us keep him on the go

Get a clothespin (not the snappy kind) and tie a piece of elastic to it. Tie it to a doorknob and let your kitten pull on it. My cats play with that even in their adulthood. You can 1st interest them in it by bobbing it in front of them.
