Accent is available in the stores and doesn't change the flavor but is basically MSG that some people don't like. If you really meant a marinade that flavors and tenderizes, then Italian dressing can work or lots and lots of other marinades (the acid in the marinade helps tenderize the meat).
Here's the one I make the most:
Marinade for beef, pork, chicken, or veggies
1/3 cup vegetable oil (or canola)
1/4 cup soy sauce (light is fine)
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
2 Tbs. brown sugar
2 Tbs. ketchup
1 Tbs. lemon juice
1/8 tsp. fresh ground black pepper
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
Combine all in jar and shake well. Refrigerate.

Buy a fresh pineapple and when you cut it up, save the "scraps". Marinate the beef with the pineapple scraps for 3 hrs or overnight. It does not flavor the meat. The beef will melt in your mouth. The beef should not be thicker than one inch. Also try it with spare ribs.

Used 8 ounces of ( flat ) beer to marinate the meat. No more no less than 8 ounces. Marinate meat over night. When done throw the marinate away.
