I heard someone say once that the bible is like floss for the brain.

can someone explain why they would think that is a good analogy?

Candy floss, I think...

Just sugar, no redeeming or nutritive values, very lightweight and insubstantial, tends to blow away in the wind and make your face all sticky...

To me this means it gets into the cracks and crevises of the brain to understand.

I would not think so...it's more like a straight jacket for the brain . very restrictive and only necessary for the insane .
