So heres why I turned away. I think I WAS TURNED AWAY! I have a great relationship with God. I feel God in everything. I became a born again Christian at 17. Went thru rebellion, came back, asked forgiveness, REPENTED, and it was as if I was totally cut off. Now, I confessed and repented of everything. I begged, pleaded, prayed but could not identify or feel Christ anymore. I even felt a contempt or loathing for him I didnt want to feel. I have that still. Keep in mind I dont want that feeling and have begged for it to go to no avail, Jesus has turned his back on me.What do you think? And dont say its about repentance...I did that.

A lot of it has to do with the fact that you want or expect to have that exact same feeling that you had before. And you can't. No one stays in the exact same place with God. You either grow IN God, or you either grow stagnant. You have obviously been through a lot. But, it is not enough to just pray and expect that automatically you will feel the same as you did before. You must SEEK Him through prayer, His Word, the church, or at least a small fellowship group. You must study His Word to know what He is about and to know all that He expects out of you. God has not turned you away. God stills loves you. He just completely wants you to surrender yourself to Him and it sounds like you have not completely done that, especially if you are claiming to be wiccan. You cannot be wiccan and be Christian at the same time.

Just think, you are here, not by chance but by God's choosing. His hand formed you and made you the person that you are. He compares you to no one else, you are one of a kind. You lack nothing that His grace cannot give you. He has allowed you to be here at this time in history to fulfill His special purpose for this generation. You are uniquely gifted.

Many people feel unworthy when they have broken the rules. They put up a wall between themslves and God to keep Him out, without even realizing they are doing that. It's a self protection thing. But He is not holding your sins against you. He still loves you as much as He ever did. He is not disappointed in you. He knew ahead of time what you would do, and took you into His heart when you were 17 anyway, didn't He? Maybe you can forgive yourself one day and let Him come back in. Some people try really hard, but it's not a matter of trying hard. It's a matter of letting Him do it.

Jesus said he would never leave you or forsake you.
You allowed another spirit to make you believe it was the Lord. I'd have to believe that someone has influenced your thoughts for you to think Christ turned his back on you and believe me there are plenty of people that would have you to believe it. I am truly sorry that that has happened to you because Christ wants to be your best friend and best friends are always there for each other.I pray you see the light and when you do that you have the strength to say NO to crap like Christ turning his back on you. Peace.

I could give you a deep answer, but I know it would not be Christian like. The best answer would be to read a spirit filled bible(in any book store, and online). This bible is just like any bible but it will answer alot of questions.

If you want to know God and Jesus-1) Spend time with God and Jesus-Just like when you are talking with your friends, talk to him the same way-They both will come to you the way you only will understand, 2) Read GOD'S love letter to us-THE BIBLE(old and new) READ, and 3) Spend time with other Christians, Find a teaching church, (Once you spend time in church, in Bible study meetings, and other church functions, go back to your BIBLE and read, AND SPEND MORE TIME with GOD and Jesus.
God loves you, just spend time with him.

I appreciate your candor. It sounds to me like there's something in you that's blocking you from opening up the way you would like to. Maybe something subconscious? I only say that because Jesus never, ever turns His back on us. If we are with Him once, as you once were, and then later we aren't with Him any more, it is *always* we who moved; never He. Jesus Himself said, "...him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out."

Could it be that Jesus has fully accepted you back, but that you haven't fully accepted or realized His forgiveness? Maybe that bad feeling is something you are unconsciously hanging onto? That's the only explanation I can think of right now. God bless you, sister; I will certainly pray for you.

It all takes time. If I stopped eating fried chicken for 5 years and changed my whole diet, I couldn't just go back to it, it would make me sick! [sorry for the example but u get it] God would never turn you away because He loves us all and salvation is what He wants for us. I would say you were being a bit impatient because God doesn't do things when we want him to, He has his own timing.....which we may not like at times ....but its His! Hang in there gurl and don't let the Devil have a place in your life! Pray without ceasing.....

When God needed you, you turned your back on Him for a while, didn't you?
Why should you not expect the same. He is only acting like you.
Be patient and wait on the Lord.

Give it some time.

I think there's this thing called "analysis paralysis" and it can apply to faith... ( and a lot of other things).

Seriously, relax. Give it some time.

Here's something Jesus said,

"All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out."

EDIT: You gave up on Christ?
