Reality.

Taking the credit for my successes, and shouldering the blame for my failures (as opposed to claiming they are the end result of a deity, or eternal adversary).

Atheists do not believe that gods exist as there is no evidence for them.

We do, however, believe in the correct use of apostrophes. Never use an apostrophe to make a plural.

I'll answer with the definition of agnostic. I think that probably what a lot of athiests really are.

agnostic: a person who holds the view that any ultimate reality (as God) is unknown and probably unknowable; broadly : one who is not committed to believing in either the existence or the nonexistence of God or a god (Merriam-Webster online)

That way I get to spend more time thinking about things that matter, like global warming, how soon we can get W sent back to texas, is that chest real or silicone. :)

Truly those who reject God believe in doing what they feel like doing. Their search for their own personal happy feelings consumes their lives. These happy feelings not only make themselves feel good about themselves but they also help them to forget about their meaningless existence.
