Such as you are a Baptist and your Neighbor is Dutch Reform, do you believe he is a confused and wayward Christian? What if he was Catholic? Mormon? Jehovah's Witness?

Some will say I don't understand Christianity, well, I don't care to.

Patriarch,
I do not hate anyone nor do I believe that a seasoned Christian will hate others no matter what their background. I have some disagreements over scripture but generally it is a peaceful discussion and I never become angry about such a matter. I hope that makes sense to you. Have a wonderful weekend.
Thanks,
Eds

Your question "Why do diverse Christian sects think of Catholics are no longer Christian?" Has me a sprint puzzled! right here in Europe no person might say one in all those element a minimum of no longer brazenly, I even have in no way heard absolutely everyone or examine something of this until seeing many of the solutions to this question! i will assert this "The catholic faith is lots extra concentrated around the training of Christ than many of the recent international bible based religions, which tend to quote lots extra from the previous testomony! I purely end i will draw is that historic past is enjoying a roll interior the prejudice of a few human beings. of direction there is the 'I worship the only actual God? theory held by using some so called Christian sects, yet that may no longer something extra beneficial than hypocrisy! the training of Jesus for sure state that everybody is a baby of God. I concern that many are a sprint at the back of with there expertise as to how lots the Catholic church has moved on through fact the seventeenth cent. If one considers the paintings of Pope John Paul 1st and that of Pope John Paul 2d interior the reunification of the Christian international one will see precisely what I mean.

No, we are taught not to hate anyone. Jesus taught us to love everyone as ourselves.

Oh, and CJ, where did you get your information that Catholics are not Christians? They most certainly are. They just follow a different doctrine than a Baptist or a Protestant, but they adamantly beleive that Christ is their savior. Most of my family is Catholic and they would be aghast that you consider them non-Christians. Have you ever seen a rosary? It has an imagine of Christ on the cross. You should really try to have your facts straight before you answer questions.

I personally am Christian, one of Jehovah's Witnesses. I do not hate/dislike others for having different beliefs than me. Do I agree with all their beliefs?? Probably not, and I am more than willing to have a discussion about it, but it is certainly their right to feel that way.

It's a sin for followers of Christ to hate people for any reason. We don't hate nonbelievers or people of other faiths we are to love them and try to bring them to Christ. We are to pray for them and to help them if they need help. We are to feed them if they are hungry or give them water if they are thirsty. This is Gods commandment to his children no matter what denomination they belong to.
We are to lovingly admonish those who are perverting Gods word and try to get them back on the right path. If they reject the truth and continue to pervert God's word we are to leave them alone God will take care of them. We are not to hate them no matter what.
Nonbelievers confuse the fact that Christians hate sin as hating the sinner. When we speak out against sin, any sin we are accused of hating people, when that is not true. We are to love the sinner and hate the sin. People are not the sin, and the sin is not people. Sin is the act. That is what Christians hate the act of sinning.

I believe in God..I do not hate anyone..Christians with different religions or non believers. What they believe is between them and their creator and we should not judge them. I don't understand Christianity either and I do not care to either. I just want to believe and study and learn what I can about what my Father expects from me.

No. Don't hate anyone.

I dislike the fact that some people are misguided and use Christianity to stir up intolerance and animosity, but I don't hate anyone, especially just because their beliefs differ from mine.

To hate someone is too costly whether they're Christian, Muslim or Jew. What ever denomination we are, in this case being Christian, we are all one in God's eyes so why would be foolish enough to judge each other?

No. In my opinion, and because the scriptures back it up, every christian belongs to the body of Christ, or to put it easier, every believer follows the teachings of Christ. Churches are just buildings in which we meet for companionship and community.
