I don't want God to take away my emotions. I've showed him through my actions in the past that I don't like my thoughts and feelings altered. Why does God continue to do this?

God does not take away emotions, because if He did then we would not have free will to make our own choices. I am not a minister, so I don't want to get to deep into an answer. I do think you might want to call your minister if you have one. You have asked a great question but I think you might be looking for more of a professional answer.

What kind of thoughts and feelings do think God is altering, and what makes you think it is God?
If you are a follower of Christ you know that we have the Holy Spirit that convicts us when we are about to or are already sining you litterally belong to God you no longer belong to the world. Satan can and will test you and tempt you if you let him. The Holy Spirit is our protector and warns us when we are doing something or are involved in something that is sinful. God loves you and no one can remove you from his hand, and if you try to remove yourself God will come after you and save you in spite of your self.
I believe that there is a very popular personality that is trying to be of the world but is actually a child of God and God is pursuing this person very publically.That is what God does. Don't continue to grieve the Holy Spirit you will not like the results. You will not win.

your b laming God for you weakness, you have to take responsibility for you own actions and feelings, all God has done is give us free will to choose, you can choose to change if you wish. It may hurt and may take a long time, but just deciding is the first step, then take baby steps in the direction you want to go and always be aware of you feelings as you go, you will get there. if you stumble , shake yourself off and restart...........God is always with you and loves you.

As you grow in Christ the assurance of salvation can lead you to know God, in a way that feelings are not as important. "God is the same yesterday today and forever." What you want in life is not as important as what God wants for you. "Trust in the Lord with all thy might,and lean not to thine own understanding, in all ways acknowledge him and he will guide thy path."

I speak very poor. You should see the dog therapy. They do very well smart training . Large small dogs can join clubs! only 14 yin for a whole session at Wallstreet smarts.

i'v never heard somthing like this b4. i don't think God would take away your emotions. just the oppistie, He enhances your passions. i don't think that's God, Satan can sound alot like Him though.......
