Religion is greedy, every sunday people give to "god" just to pay for some preist to live in a fancy house and drive a fancy car. It doesn't make sense, and the government is greedy also, everything is just about the mighty dollar and nobody cares about the little guy!

May I ask what exactly you are doing to aid all the suffering people in the world? Why do you put the blame for the world's suffering on Christians? What exactly do you expect us to do? Aside from the fact there are many places on this planet where the Christian missionaries and doctors are the first ones murdered, usually while running a hospital paid for by Christian donations? The truth is, most of the world's suffering could be eased if more people adopted Christian values instead of draining the land dry and fighting useless petty wars based on tribal hatred and greed.
That cross is like a bullseye, where people without a solution are always taking cheap shots based on little or no research.

You have a very westernized view of Christianity. There are millions of Christians all around the world suffering in countries that are in the middle of a civil war, persecuted in countries that have a state religion, and poorer than anybody in America, Christian or not, could imagine. To lay suffering at the feet of Christians and say they care so little about others is very short sighted and unfair.

Christians are human beings, and I'm afraid to say that many of usare not good, living examples of our beliefs. They're Christian in their prayers, in bible reading, etc., but some have problems taking action. Even if all the Christians did something, some people are hard to reach because they live in a secluded area, live in places with unstable governments, etc. They keep the people in their prayers, but nothing more. So come on, everyone needs to do their part!
As a side note, suffering entered human life through human choice (Adam and Eve), so in the terrestrial life, I guess everyone's gonna suffer something or other...

Oh, now you are way off base!
I do everything I can to help others who are suffering.
I buy clothes for my students. I spend my own money on surprises and treats for them. I buy supplies for them and in some cases, groceries for them.
You say that "Christians care so little for others just like everybody else."
I assume YOU do not care for anyone but yourself.
THAT, friend, is sad.
You forget and ignore the less foruntate. At lease I TRY to help. Christians try and help in some small way. even though we cannot end all suffering.
It makes you a selfish, immoral person if you do not care at all and if you do not at least try to help ONE person in ONE small way.
I am glad there aren't many people like this.
MOST people, no matter what they believe or don't believe, care about others. You and the others like you (who only care about themselves) are in the very small minority.

Because ALL religions are flawed systems. Christianity originally started out as an excellent idea, and it wasn't a religion it was more of a group of people following the ideals of a brilliant man (jesus of nazareth) then Saul/Paul went out and started converting people in mass and lying if need be to gain converts, making up fictional stories, and making jesus the "christ" or son of god. Praying is not a way to make up actually helping someone.. but being able to rely on a "higher being" that will always be there to help oneself provides comfort for those who are really troubled and can't get out of situations by themselves.
Hope tht helped!

Being a Christian does not protect you or anyone else from suffering. God's promise, according to the Bible, is that He will provide you inner strength to face your adversities. If a person does not want to help himself/herself, even "believing" Christians cannot do that for you. Many people volunteer their time and money to help in times of trouble--watch the specials on 911, Hurricane Rita, etc. Sounds like you are judging an entire group of people by some bad experience(s) in your own life.

Who said christians could solve people suffering? Let's not put people into categories.. It should be the whole human race that comes together to help stop suffering. One person can make a huge difference but a whole group of people can make a change.

Christianity never claimed to intend to eliminate suffering. If anything, it is a doctrine intended to help its followers understand why (or perhaps instead at least tolerate the fact that) suffering is an inevitability.
Ask a Christian about suffering. S/he will have any number of justifications or excuses for why the suffering is allowed to exist (i.e. God is challenging us, God works in mysterious ways, God is showing us that we need to be closer to Him). I don't think these excuses are always bad things necessarily. Some people's minds are such that this makes sense and actually helps them.

The number of Christians is conversely proportional to the amount of suffering in the world? Wow.
Christians are not alone in empathy and compassion. Please go back and check yours stats. Something isn't adding up.

Because there are a lot of money hungry, power hungry, and greedy people out there, and yes some of them claim to be Christian.
