Oh yes, I'm sure that's possible. It's just that it seems more likely that other things are true. If suddenly the universe broke into pieces, I MIGHT think that what you said just happened. But seeing as that is unlikely to happen, I'll probably never adopt said point of view.
But I know what you are basically asking and the answer is yes. Science does not say that God doesn't exist, but that there is no proof that he exists. If there was, it would change

So kind of like the end of Men In Black where the alien was playing marbles?
I'm sure there are some that would entertain that notion but without proof or evidence of it.
I personally like the idea that our universe is the result of some other universe's black hole collapse. I mean when we observe a black hole collapsing it collapses into a singularity. Supposedly the "big bang" started as a singularity. I think it's a neat idea. Would I kill for it? Of course not, I'm not some religious nealot. But it's neat.

I believe there is a book out now that says there is 20% chance we're all just someones virtual reality or video game - similar to The Sims.
Maybe that being, if it exists, could be called a god?

i think of that all people is people no count what faith. race, intercourse, etc. Blaming tragedies, alongside with 9/11, on particular communities of people is in simple terms elementary incorrect. I additionally think of the Pledge of Allegiance might desire to get replaced. we are actually not 'one usa below God', we are basically a rustic. There should not be any non secular factor in that, via fact people get offended. Why won't be able to all of us in simple terms get alongside?

Sure, our universe could be a single atom in a giant's thumbnail....yet, what of the giant's universe? Entirely within an atom of the outside of a teakettle in another universe? And that? Within an atom of hydrogen within a distant star of yet another universe. And it could go on, in either direction really.

most definately. i am open to such possibilities. i am even open to the possibilty of a god as christians see it. the only time i get angry is when christians act as if they're 100% sure that god exists and everyone else is wrong. other than that, i dont usually get angry over other peoples beliefs.

A person? Why does it have to be a person, or a being? IMO the closest thing to a "deity" is the universe itself...an unthinking universe that is a thing, not a being, and doesn't give a damn.

Personally? No. It's just as ludicrous as the guy with a long beard and thunderbolts in his hand.
I'm just not really "open" to the idea of any sentient being "out there" who can control our destiny. Whatever name you want to give it.
