I have been vomitting and have had diarrhea for a few days now...I have been only able to keep down ginger ale, a little bit of chicken broth and toast today. I'm pretty hungry and wanting to try to move to something more substantial, but I'm not sure what will be somewhat safe...also, smells have been bothering, so nothing that when cooked (or uncooked I suppose) smells bad or strong. I don't plan on eating anything until tomorrow at least, so I know for sure if the toast and broth settle well...but basically once I'm dealing well with those, what comes next? Thanks!

Oh, and add water to things I've been consuming.

Try some jello and clear juice like apple juice and maybe some rice. Or canned peaches always works well with me and my kids.

Be easy on your stomach, at first. Because it became ill because you were too harsh on it. So fresh fruit will work great. It has water in it to flush the bad stuff out of your system as well as repair any damage done by the illness you have/had. gentle fruit such as apples, bananas, pears, peaches. You can have the B.R.A.T. diet if you choose. Bananas, rice, applesauce, toast. It is for diarrhea, but you need to elliminate the germs from your body that were causing you to be sick. Broths are good because they help you to get back the water that you were lacking that got you sick also. Water is essential for transport of good stuff and bad stuff throughout your body. Let me know if you would like some further help. Good Luck and God Bless.
